The internationally-recognised, Science Space is the largest hands-on science centre in NSW!
Located at the University of Wollongong’s Innovation Campus, the Centre also houses the largest planetarium in the state.
The Science Centre and Planetarium has been a part of the Illawarra for decades. That funny shaped building and quirky exhibits have been imparting knowledge about science and technology to well over a million visitors since 1989.
Science Space has also welcomed the DIGISTAR 6, Australia's #1 most digitally advanced Planetarium system! We have also refreshed our exhibition space, introduced birthday parties - and you might want to keep an eye on the building.
The Centre can facilitate public and group visits, making it an optimal venue for interactive fun for your family or school excursions.
